  • bunch beet roots
  • 2 grapefruit, peeled, quartered
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • Seasonings to taste

Boil the beets in salted water for about 45 minutes. Peel and slice them. Put butter in a sauce pan. When foaming, add the beets and the seasonings. Add the grapefruit. Let cook 2 minutes, then serve.

One of my faviorte is cutting up the turnips and rainbow carrots as well as beats drizzle some olive oil and fresh garlic and bake at 350 for about 30 min. This is wonderful My kids even love it.
